_Antique Vocational School was established in 1946 in Bugasong, Antique. It nestles in a 8.1121 hectares land. It was formerly called Central Antique High School, was converted into a national secondary trade school by virtue of operation of RA 1935 sponsored by the late Congressman Tobias Fornier in June 22, 1957 and was given a new name - Antique Vocational High School. The school then implemented the Four-Year Trade Curriculum until 1975. It also started to offer the Two-Year Trade Curriculum and in 1977 it offered Agricultural Technology Curriculum. It was during this time that the name Antique Vocational High School was changed to Antique Vocational School. Presently, the school is implementing the STVEP - CBC (Strengthened Technical-Vocational Education Program - Compentency Based Curriculum). It is one of the 262 Technical Vocational Schools in the country implementing such curriculum. This curriculum specifies the outcomes which are consistent with the requirements of the workplace and aligned with the training rules andregulations of TESDA. It also provides opportunities for students to acquire a National Certificate of Compentency from TESDA after the compentency assessment.
