This course is designed to provide the knowledge, skills, positive attitudes and work values of the students/learners in gathering, interpreting and conveying information in response to workplace requirement. The course also intends to identify the role and responsibility as a member of a team; to promote career growth and advancement; to comply with regulatory and organizational requirements for occupational health and safety practices, and to apply quality standards. It also covers competencies such as: perform basic preventive maintenance on spray equipment and booth, prepare surface for final coat and apply surface coating using spray gun system.
Automotive Servicing

This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitudes of an individual in the field of automotive servicing in accordance with industry standards. It covers basic, common and core competencies such as; perform gas and diesel tune up, service automotive battery, ignition system, test and repair wiring/lighting system, perform under chassis preventive maintenance and perform shop maintenance.
Consumer Electronics Servicing NC II
This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitudes of a trainee/student on core competencies such as; Assemble/Disassemble Consumer Electronic Products and Systems, Maintain and Repair Audio/Video Products and Systems, Electronically-Controlled Domestic Appliances and Cellular Phones in accordance with the industry standards. It includes basic competencies such as; Participate in Workplace Communication, Work in Team Environment, Practice Career Professionalism and Practice Occupational Health and Safety Procedures.
It also includes common competencies such as; Use Hand Tools, Perform Menstruation and Calculation, Prepare and Interpret Technical Drawing, Apply Quality Standards, Perform Computer Operations and Terminate & Connect Electrical Wiring and Electronic Circuits.
Building Wiring Installation
Qualification Level: BWI NC II
This course covers knowledge, skills and attitude in electrical installation. It deals with good housekeeping and safety, basic electricity, preparation of electrical materials and tools, performing roughing-in activities, installing wiring devices, installing electrical protection systems, installing electrical and auxiliary equipment and commissioning electrical system.
Shielded Metal Arc Welding
Qualification Level: NC I
This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, desirable attitudes and skills of metal arc welder in accordance with industry standards. It covers core competencies such as welding carbon steel plates using shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) in fillet and groove weld position. It also includes competencies like interpreting drawing sketches, performing industry calculation, contributing to quality system, using hand tools, preparing weld materials, setting up the welding equipment, fitting materials and repairing welds.

This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, desirable attitudes and skills of students in accordance with industry standards. It covers core competencies such as: preparing freehand drawing, constructing geometrical figures, orthographic projection, pictorial drawing, and performing shop maintenance. It also includes competencies in workplace communication, team work, safety use of drawing tools, and housekeeping.
Drafting

This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, desirable attitudes and skills of students in accordance with industry standards. It covers core competencies such as: constructing auxiliary drawing, section drawing and developing patterns and preparing applied working drawing for specific trade areas. It includes competencies in workplace communication, team work safety, use of drawing tools, and house keeping.
Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning
Qualification Level: NC II
This course covers the basic principles of electricity and the mechanical aspects in line with the operation of a domestic refrigeration and air conditioning units. It also deals with basic safety procedure for the repairman as well as the service hand tools and equipment.
The course identifies, discusses and demonstrates the use of hand tools, service equipment, measuring instruments, the interpretation of diagrams that will lead to the process of troubleshooting and repair.
The inclusion of the compliance to international agreements and protocols to save ozone layer are given attention.
Agricultural Technology
A. Plant Production

This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitudes of the students in Agricultural Crop Production such as production of cereals (rice, corn , and sorg hum), legumes, sugarcane and coconut. They would be undertaking safety measures in farm operations using tools and equipment.

They would be undertaking safety measures in farm operations using tools and equipment.

This course is designed to pursue a range of occupations associated with beauty care services and hairdressing program, providing experience in customer services such as; hand and foot spa, body massage, body scrub, facial treatment, manicuring, pedicuring and facial make-up. It also includes shampooing and blow drying, hair cutting, perming hair, hair coloring, scalp and hair treatment and hair spa.

This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitudes required in preparing, cooking and presenting a variety of foods in a commercial kitchen or catering operation. It covers competencies such as plating, presenting and serving food, preparing and storing vegetables, fruits, eggs and starch dishes, preparing hot and cold desserts, cleaning and maintaining kitchen premises, performing safety practices in the workplace and observing workplace hygiene procedures.

This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and desirable attitudes required in Dressmaking and Tailoring in accordance with industry standards. It emphasizes the development of common competencies leading to acquisition of core competencies. This will enable students to fit the job requirements in garment industries. It deals with techniques in mensuration, pattern development, design interpretation, construction processes, garment construction application of appropriate finishing touches and application of industrial quality standards.
Loom Weaving
This course is not included in the area of specialization in the tech– voc curriculum but is offered by the school as a special area of specialization. This course is relevant to the need of our community since this is noted for its hand woven patadyong.
